I had the honor and opportunity to deliver a speech at the annual gathering of the Western New York Area Labor Federation. The gathering brought together more than 200 labor activists, primarily from labor unions in the Western New York State area. I was truly honored by both the opportunity to speak but also the reception I received.
The speech attempted to situate the crisis facing organized labor and grapple with why various reform efforts have not succeeded. But it also contains some recommendations.
I hope that you will find this of interest and use.
