Despite the polls that seem to indicate that Obama has this election, i do not rest easy.  The allegations of voter suppression and electoral irregularities are very troubling.  Just a couple of hours ago there was a report from Pennsylvania of a voting machine that registered “Romney” even when a voter pushed “Obama.”

But the other thing that has me wondering is based on the short memory of so many people in this country.  It would be one thing if, out of disappointment with Obama on the economy, they turned to someone like Jill Stein, but to turn to Romney????

Race and long-term memory loss make for an interesting combination.

I think that this will be a very long day and night.
