Tomorrow’s program will center around the New York Taxi Workers Alliance and their dynamic and visionary leader, Ms. Bhairavi Desai. We will explore the challenges of organizing workers who cannot legally form unions, but are nevertheless organizing. We will also look at the larger questions facing a trade union movement that must either experience a reformation or will disappear.
